Brian Bolz

Brian BolzBrian Bolz founded Insight Methods in 2007 as a technology consulting company and has since led its transformation into a national software subscription business focused on education. By providing a rich suite of web services and technology guidance through Beehively, Insight Methods has introduced a new generation of technology to preschools through high schools. Before Insight Methods, Brian held various leadership positions at MarketTools Inc, a software startup dedicated to market research and technology development. Brian studied Economics and Computer Science at Stanford University, graduating in 1999.

Byron Kennedy

Byron KennedyByron Kennedy is a seasoned information technology leader and business manager with 20 years of experience leading cross-functional teams through a variety of functions, activities and projects, including large-scale infrastructure transitions, new product launches, application integration, systems migration, ongoing operations, finance and customer service. As a technology and business consultant, he's worked with small businesses, rapid-growth startups and large organizations, including work in media, education, government, financial services, retail and high-tech. He's held senior positions with the Associated Press, MarketTools Inc., and Cambridge Technology Partners. Byron holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte as well an MBA from the University of San Francisco, where he graduated as co-valedictorian.

Erica Haman

Erica HamanErica Haman has more than seven years of experience in sales and business development. With a background in educational fundraising, Erica found Beehively to be a natural fit. She provides top-notch service to ensure each school understands the wealth of opportunities available with Beehively. Erica studied Organizational Communications at California State University, Chico. She enjoys volunteering, practicing yoga and cooking.

Melissa Vargas

Melissa VargasAs an educator with experience in both public and private schools, Melissa Vargas brings the voice of the classroom and school to the Beehively team. While working for the Catholic schools in the Redding area, Melissa helped implement the Beehively program and website redesigns. Melissa works with the technology and customer service teams to ensure clients have the most up-to-date program information and resources to fully leverage Beehively’s services. She enjoys taking customer suggestions and discovering how they can be incorporated into program updates to benefit all Beehively schools. Melissa holds a degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, East Bay and a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.

Chelsea Pugh

Chelsea PughChelsea Pugh is responsible for overseeing administrative coordination of the Davis, Calif.-based headquarters. With a knack for organization, Chelsea ensures all facets of Beehively are running smoothly; managing the help desk and support line, as well as client records, and facilitating website redesigns. Chelsea holds a degree in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys traveling, hiking, riding dirt bikes and listening to live music.

Brad Anger

Brad AngerBrad Anger is a solutions engineer with many years of experience working with networks and mobile devices. As part of the Beehively support team, Brad is well-versed in Windows networking, mobile devices and Internet communications and protocols. Brad’s attention to detail provides clients with high-level, professional network and device setup and maintenance. Brad holds an AS in Information and Networking Technology from Brown College in Minnesota, and is continuing his education at Western Governors University. He loves hiking with his family and playing with his children. He also enjoys discussing science fiction books, movies and mobile technology.

Alison Finley

Alison FinleyAlison brings to the Beehively team a background in project coordination, previously working at The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation in their educational grants and scholarships department. She is managing Beehively’s survey projects and she works closely with Chelsea in an administrative capacity. Alison also has experience as a classroom teacher, and she holds a BA in Biology from UC Berkeley and a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, with an emphasis on early childhood education. Alison’s interests outside of work include exploring California with her two young children and husband, and taking classes to keep her skills sharp.

Brian Briggs

Brian BriggsBrian brings his classroom experience and hands on approach to Beehively as a trainer and professional development guru. With over 12 years as a teacher and a true passion for technology, Brian delivers the enthusiasm and know how for all levels. A core component of his work centers around providing teachers the skills they need to meet the needs of our 21st century learners. Brian has worked on several projects implementing classroom technology, from iPods in the classroom to creating, implementing and supporting one-to-one classroom environments. His focus is always on technology to improve student learning, rather than using a tool for a tool's sake. Brian currently serves on the CAPCue (Capitol Area Computer Using Educators) board. He holds a California Multiple Subjects credential, with supplementary authorizations in Computer Concepts and Applications and a Master of Arts in Educational Technology.

Niket Patel

Niket PatelNiket Patel leads Beehively’s technology practice, making architectural decisions and creating the software development platform. He enjoys mastering cutting-edge software and is an extremely clear thinker who is able to see through problems and evaluate solutions from both technical and business standpoints. Niket is an active contributor to open-source software, and some of the technologies he currently uses include Ruby, Rails, Sproutcore and CouchDb. Before joining Beehively in January 2008, Niket was the co-founder of NexusNeo Pvt Ltd, a Ruby-based technology-development firm and also worked as a Microsoft and .Net developer. Niket graduated from Birla Vishvakarma Engineering College.

Chintan Sheth

Chintan ShethChintan Sheth has worked with Beehively as a user experience designer and is an expert on the Beehively team. He focuses on static design mockups and makes them functional. Chintan enjoys working in a creative, team environment and learning new things, even those unrelated to work. He truly feels he is one of those few lucky people who are able to do what they love. Chintan graduated from Saurashtra University.

Paul Rathina Singh

Paul Rathina SinghPaul Rathina Singh is project delivery manager responsible for school website delivery, quality and maintenance, and Beehively application improvements. In addition to his attention to detail, he also coordinates administrative aspects of the Beehively India office. Paul holds a degree in Commerce from Gujarat University. He enjoys being involved in outreach programs and church activities., as well as playing keyboard and learning guitar.

Chirag Gurjar

Chirag GurjarChirag Gurjar with over five years of experience as a professional designer, Chirag has knowledge of both mobile application designs and responsive designs. He holds a Bachelor in Commerce degree from Gujarat University and has studied Web design from Arena Multimedia & 3D Animation from Frameboxx. Apart from work, Chirag enjoys watching films, photography, shopping and listening to music.

Darshan Patel

Darshan PatelDarshan Patel started his career with Beehively as Junior Developer and has enjoyed growing with the Beehively team. He assists with application testing, website updates in HTML/CSS, and school survey support. Darshan has graduated with a Bachelor in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University. Darshan enjoys listening to remix music and is always ready for a photo shoot.

Dhiraj Patel

Dhiraj PatelDhiraj Patel has more than six years of experience as a designer working with many aspects of web design, including HTML5, CSS3, Javascript. Dhiraj is the newest member of the Beehively team and has multimedia training from Xplora Design School and a Master of Commerce degree. Dhiraj enjoys watching movies and playing cricket.
